NAWABSHAH: Chemists warn of strike

NAWABSHAH, April 22 The Chemists Association of Nawabshah announced on Wednesday they would observe complete shutter down strike in the city in protest against delay in arrest of the killers of Tanveer Ahmed Shaikh.

Deedar Rind, president of the association and general secretary Shakeel Rajput said that Tanveer was shot dead by some armed men when he was sitting at Aziz Medical Store.

They said that they had repeatedly informed police about the threats being issued to Inayatullah, owner of the store by some extortionists but police failed to provide him security.

They said that they were in touch with the administration and DPO for last four days but police were not ready to arrest the killers.

They said that the executive council of their association had decided to observe complete shutter-down strike till the arrest of Tanveer's killers and security to chemists.

KILLED A minor girl was killed and two other children suffered serious injuries when a speeding van hit them near Taj Colony on the Buchheri road on Wednesday.

Anum Solangi, 7, died on the spot while Erum, 6, and Sawera, 8, were taken to People's Medical College Hospital.
