Defending champion Sara Mansoor could not contain the scare of top seed Sara Mahboob in the semi-final.

Mahboob made a comeback after losing four match points in the first set, winning it 7-6(8).

Mansoor however, showed some resistance in the second set and was four points up but the experienced Mahboob won it 7-5.

The winner will now be seen in action against Ushna Sohail in the final of the championship.

Meanwhile, in the second semi-final, Ushna hammered Saba Aziz 6-4, 7-5.

In men's singles semi-finals, Aqeel Khan clinched his fixture against emerging junior star Samir Iftikhar.

Aqeel showed his experience defeating Samir 6-1, 6-1.

Earlier, in the first semi-final, Yasir Khan defeated his elder brother Jalil Khan 6-4, 7-5.

In the girls' U-18 event, Ushna clinched the title, sidelining Iman Qureshi 6-1, 6-3.

In the boys' U-14 category, Talal Almas defeated second seeded Hasnain Manzoor in the semi-final 3-5, 4-1, 4-1.

Talal will now face Mohammad Mudassir in the final.
