Rawalpindi, Karachi in final
KARACHI, Dec 7 Defending champions Rawalpindi and hosts Karachi qualified for the second National Disabled Cricket Championship final after comfortable wins in their respective semi-finals here on Monday.
Matloob Qureshi hammered an unbeaten 70 off 72 balls but failed to save Multan from a four-wicket defeat at the hands of Karachi at the RLCA Ground.
Multan were restricted to 181 for nine in 40 overs. Karachi, in reply, reached the target for the loss of six wickets.
In the other semi-final played at the PCB Academy Ground, Rawalpindi defeated Lahore by five wickets despite a superb century by Mohammad Fayyaz.
Lahore made 198 all out in 38.2 overs. Fayyaz cracked 107. Rawalpindi reached the target in 33.4 overs. Mohammad Altaf hit 81.
