LAHORE, Aug 25 The Pakistan Hockey Federation (PHF) has announced the organising committee for Junior U-18 Super League, which is being held at the Hockey Club of Pakistan in Karachi from Sept 1 to 18.

Olympian Abdul Hanif Khan has been named as tournament director, while Khawaja Zarrar Kaleem will be the assistant tournament director. Javed Iqbal, Dr S.A. Majid, Qadeer Ahmad, Azmat Pasha, Naseem Hussain, Arif Hayyat and Ramzan Jamali will be the tournament officers.

Rashad Mehmood Butt will be the umpires' manager and Faiz Mohammad Faizi and Saeed Ahmad will act as assistant umpires' managers. The judges will be Rao Javed, Mohammad Nadeem, Irfan Qureshi, Mussarat Hussain, Azeem Khan, Imtiaz-ul-Hassan, Mohammad Omer, Ejaz Raza, Zahid Ghaffar, Shahid Habib, Zahid Mehmood, Amir Siddiqui, Haroon Saeed, Rana Afzal, Shafiq Bhatti, Allahdad, Mian Zafar, Ali Ahmad Baloch, Liaqat Ali, Tariq Rasheed, Moeed Khan, Salman Sheikh, Tanvir Ghouri, Babar Ahmad, Fakhar Ahmad, Saleem, Khalil Shah, Rana Muzaffar and Talat Mehmood.

The detailed umpires are Mohammad Arshad, Asghar Ali, Tassadaq Hussain, Shahid Parvez, Faisal Ismail, Haq Nawaz, Asif Ahmad, Kamran Sharif, Khawaja Naveed, Rana Sajid Ali, Naveed Asghar, Munir Ahmad, Mir Ali Kurd, Shahid Gul, Muslehuddin, Ehsan-ul-Haq Babar, Kamran Shah, Mubarak Ali and Gul Badin.

Meanwhile, a PHF spokesman said that due to the expected visit of FIH President Leandro Negre to Pakistan in October this year, the schedule of the Shaheed Mohtarma Benazir Bhutto All Pakistan Gold Cup Hockey Tournament has been changed.

The tournament will now be played from Oct 14 to 21 at Naseer Bunda Hockey Stadium, Islamabad. The FIH president is expected to be the chief guest on the opening ceremony of the event.
