Sultan of Swing, former left-arm fast bowler, Wasim Akram announced on Twitter that he is expecting his first child with Australian wife, Shaniera Akram.

This will be his third child after his two sons, Taimur and Akbar.

Also a praised commentator and bowling coach, Akram married Shaniera last year on 12th August in a small ceremony, which was attended by his family and close friends.

The star and his wife shared the news via their Twitter accounts and have been receiving best wishes from his fans all over the world.

His two sons are from his first wife, Huma Akram whom he married in 1995.

Akram married Shaniera after the sad demise of his wife in 2009 due to multiple organ failure.

*An earlier version of this article incorrectly stated that late Huma Akram passed away in 2005. The error is regretted.
