It appears that the too-good-to-be-true reunion of iconic Pakistani pop band Vital Signs might actually be on the cards.

Former bassist for the band Shehzad Hasan, also known as Shahi, tweeted a picture with Junaid Jamshed and Shoaib Mansoor earlier this week, proving that a studio collaboration between the former band-mates is currently in process.

Although Rohail Hayat was missing from the photo, we hope that he – along with former band-member Nusrat Hussain (guitar, keyboards) – would also join the group soon.

Junaid Jamshed has already promised to produce a patriotic song to uplift the spirits of the people in an earlier interview with a local TV channel.

While things look promising for a fresh Vital Signs production, a reunion of the rock band Junoon does not appear to be in the offing.

Although Junoon leader Salman Ahmad promised his fans a reunion on the band's 25th anniversary in 2015, former lead vocalist Ali Azmat denied the news.

"It is Salman's personal opinion and he [Ali Azmat] has no such plans as yet," Azmat's publicist told Dawn.com.
