Pakistanis prepare to celebrate the annual festival of Eidul Azha or the Festival of Sacrifice which marks the end of the annual Haj pilgrimage.

Muslims slaughter goats, sheep, cows and camels, following the example of Prophet Ibrahim who sacrificed his son in a show of obedience to Allah.

sacrifice should mean giving up something u need, for an act of charity or austerity. Killing someone for taste is not sacrifice.

@piyush Muslims give 1/3rd of the meat in charity, 1/3rd to relatives and only 1/3rd is left for them.

I do not need meat to survive, therefore I choose not to take something that I can live perfectly fine without. I choose not to take something that I would never be willing to give.

Eid Mubbarak to All Muslims and best wishes to all. I suggest that animal may be sacrificed once in life time by every Muslim and also during the performance of Hajj and all those who want to sacrifice animal should donate their money equivalent to the cost of animal to the hungry, sick, paralyzed and needy people.
