Gujrat Warriors win Super Kabaddi League

LAHORE: Gujrat Wor­riers won the first Pakistan Super Kabaddi League after beating Faisalabad Sherdils in the final 38-26 here on Thursday’s night.

Faisalabad’s skipper Nasir Ali, however, was declared as best player of the league.

The winners received a cash prize of Rs1 million while the runners-up pocketed Rs500,000.

Overall, 10 teams took part in the event which started on May 2. It was the first kind of kabaddi league held in the country under a private sector with the collaboration of the Pakis­tan Kabaddi Federation.
