KARACHI: Former Pakistan head coach Mickey Arthur still follows the Pakistan Super League and termed it very competitive.

In a video message from Kandy, on the eve of Sri Lanka’s third ODI against the West Indies, Sri Lanka’s head coach Arthur not only praised the PSL but also spelled his favourite outfit.

“Pakistan Super League is a fantastic competition, I love the PSL. I think it is doing wonders for Pakistan cricket. The standard of cricket is great,” Arthur said.

On a question regarding his favourite PSL team, Arthur said “Karachi Kings Zindabad”.

Arthur was attached with the PSL franchise Karachi Kings as their head coach till last year however was replaced with Dean Jones before the ongoing edition.

“I miss the PSL but obviously now I am with Sri Lanka and really enjoying this role,” said Arthur.

Arthur held Pakistan’s head coach position from 2016 before moving to Sri Lanka last year after Pakistan Cricket Board’s refusal to renew his contract.
