RAWALPINDI: The Pakistan International Airlines (PIA) is introducing direct flights to a fifth destination, Burayda, located in northern Saudi Arabia.

Burayda is the capital of the kingdom’s Al-Qassim province.

A PIA spokesman said hundreds of thousands of Pakistanis work in the region and had been demanding direct flights to the region from Pakistan, adding the first PIA flight will leave Multan on Nov 18, 2020.

Flights will depart from Multan and Islamabad every Wednesday and Friday respectively while introductory fare with a luggage limit of 40 kilogrammes will be applicable, he added.
