KARACHI: Pak Sarzameen Party chairman Syed Mustafa Kamal on Wednesday criticised former prime minister Imran Khan for building a wrong narrative about his ouster and warned that his popularity among the people would come to fall once the performance of the Pakistan Tehreek-i-Insaf government would come under the “radar of accountability”.

Addressing a press conference at the party headquarters, he said that the people of Karachi stood with Imran Khan in the hatred of Muttahida Qaumi Movement-Pakistan (MQM-P), Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) and Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N).

Calling the former premier an arrogant and self-centric man, he questioned the PTI chairman for his fast changing stance about the world powers for which on one hand he accused them of toppling his government and on the other expressed desire for having friendly relations with them.

He said that as soon as “institutions decided to stand with the Constitution, Imran stood against the institutions”.
