KARACHI: The Pakistan Qaumi Mahaz-i-Azadi (PQMA) has said that the country is facing unprecedented and multi-faceted political and economic crises that pose an existential threat to its unity and the livelihood of people.

The party held a public meeting to observe the 6th anniversary of its leader Mairaj Muhammad Khan at the Arts Council Karachi on Oct 17 which condemned the increase in the prices of fuel, essential commodities, foodstuff, public transport as well as electricity and gas bills, said a press release issued on Tuesday.

Speakers at the gathering paid tribute to the lifelong struggle of Mairaj Muhammad Khan beginning in 1958.
