LAHORE: Five goals by Manuel Crespo fired Master Paints into the final of the ARD Jinnah Gold Polo Cup with a 9½-3 victory over DS Polo on Thursday as Diamond Paints booked their berth in the subsidiary final.
While Crespo stood out, Pelagio Balazaldi contributed a brace in the big victory for Master Paints in which they held a slim 4½-3 lead by the end of the third chukker.
Earlier, seven goals from Chulo Corti saw Diamond Paints edge Remounts 10½-8. Corti was supported by Nico Roberts, who got a hat-trick while Manuel Sundblad got four goals for Remounts in a losing cause.
