WITH close to 40,000 deaths in Gaza, there is no denying the fact that Israel is like a cancer to human existence. Israeli forces have been continuously engaged in setting up illegal settlements across the West Bank and the Gaza Strip. Since the beginning of the year, settlers have conducted at least 350 attacks against Palestinians and their properties. Also, dozens of houses, vehicles and civilian facilities have been set ablaze.

The UN Security Council resolution demanding an immediate ceasefire was adopted on June 10 to halt the daily horrors of the ongoing genocide. These attacks must be taken up by the International Criminal Court without any further delay because Muslims throughout the world should not be expected to have the patience to see Israel wreaking havoc on hapless Palestinians.
