RAWALPINDI:Two suspects impersonating police officials robbed a Pakistani expatriate of foreign currency and travel documents in Westridge police area as he was on his way home from Islamabad International Airport on Tuesday.

Raja Daulat Khan, a resident of Kahuta, lodged an FIR with the police saying that he was heading home along with his son Usman from the airport when a car in which two unidentified persons were traveling blocked their way near Chur Chowk.

He said as the driver stopped the car, the two persons came to them and introduced themselves as police officials. He further said that they asked them for a search as they had information that they were had illegal arms.

Raja Daulat said first his driver was searched, then him and in the end they called his son Usman and asked him to produce his passport. After taking his passport, they asked him to show his wallet.

As his son gave them his wallet which contained 11,000 riyals and Rs10,000, they sped away.
