LAHORE: The Toyota 2000 Guineas Of Pakistan classic cup, a term race for three-year-olds to be contested over 1600 metres, will be the highlight of the seven-event card to be decided at the Racecourse here on Sunday.

Eight well-bred colts and a filly will be measuring each other’s strides to in the honour for the highest classic event for the year.

The supporting event, Christmas Cup — a term race for two-year-old colts and fillies — the first classic in the life of nursling thoroughbreds to be gone over 1200 metres will have a tiny field of five runners, three colts and two fillies.
