LAHORE: A total of 521 undergraduate and 151 MPhil/MS graduates were awarded degrees in various disciplines at 88th convocation of the Kinnaird College for Women on Thursday.

Punjab University Vice Chancellor Prof Dr Muhammad Ali Shah was chief guest and FCCU Registrar Dr Nayer Fardows was the guest of honour at the event.

Some 521 undergraduates and 151 MPhil/MS graduates were awarded degrees in language, literature, education, law, applied sciences, business, art, design and meedia communication.

Degrees were also awarded to Physical & Earth Sciences and Biological & Life Sciences graduates.

Forty-seven students were on the principal’s honour and merit lists with a CGPA of 3.80 and above, while 17 gold medals were awarded to outstanding students for achieving the highest grades in their academics.

Kinnaird College Principal Prof Dr Iram Anjum commended the students, encouraging them to contribute positively towards our homeland, Pakistan.

The principal announced plantation drive 2025. All guests received a plant to commemorate this day and contribute to a green Pakistan.

Prof Dr Saleha Naghmi Habibullah became the first recipient of Kinnaird College lifetime achievement award.

PU: The Punjab University Skill Development Centre, in collaboration with the Career Counselling and Placement Centre organised a career preparation workshop on Thursday.

The workshop focused on key professional skills such as CV writing, resume development, and interview preparation, providing students with practical insights for career advancement.
