Lamps are something that add charm to an ordinary room; no matter their shape or size, they are the epitome of elegance and instantly enhance the beauty of any space — don’t they? So, I thought, why not try making one inspired by our favourite character from the movie Shaun the Sheep? Yes, you guessed it right — Shaun! A very cute yet wise lamb that most of us adore.
This lamp is easy to make! All you need is a small empty plastic juice bottle. These days, there are so many varieties available in the market — some are cylindrical, while others are round like a ball. Honestly, they are so cute that we often keep them at home for later use. And today, we’ll be using one such small round bottle to create Shaun. Let’s get started!

Things you need:
One small round or oval shaped plastic bottle
One empty thread spool
Two medium sized googly eyes
Cotton wool (according to the size of the bottle you have)
Scissors
Double-sided tape
A piece of black felt or foam sheet (to make the face)
Hot glue
Fairy lights

Directions:
Having a thread spool at home is common. Ask your mother to give you an empty spool. Cut it into four equal pieces. If you can’t find a thread spool, you can cut four pieces of cardboard, each one centimetre in size, picture 2.
With the help of hot glue, and under an elder’s supervision, stick these four pieces at a relative distance on the bottle, as they will serve as the legs of our sheep; picture 3.
Now, paste the double-sided tape all around the bottle; picture 4.
Remove the upper layer of the tape and carefully stick the wool over the double-taped area; pictures 5, 6.
Keep in mind that the bottle’s mouth will be the back, while the sheep’s head will be pasted on the bottle’s back.
Draw an outline of the sheep’s head on white paper and cut it out. Use it as a stencil to cut the same shape from black felt or foam sheet; pictures 7 and 8.
Paste the googly eyes in their respective places on the face, and then glue a bunch of white fluff onto the forehead area, picture 9.
Now, paste this face onto the back side of the bottle, picture 10.
Insert fairy lights through the mouth of the bottle, making sure the button or battery is left outside; picture 11.
Turn off the lights and watch the magic of the glowing sheep come to life at night!
