RAWALPINDI: Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education (BISE) Rawalpindi on Monday caught three students cheating during annual secondary school certificate (SSC) exam and suspended the invigilator for violating examination standard operating procedures.

According to BISE Rawalpindi spokesman Arslan Cheema, three candidates were caught cheating including a regular candidate at the examination centre of Government Boys High School No. 2, Kala Gujran, Jhelum, and Government MC Boys High School, B Block, Rawalpindi.

He said that students were caught with the help of online monitoring cameras using modern technology and teams were immediately sent to these centres and a case was registered against them and forwarded to the board office of the Government of Punjab.

Spokesman added that BISE Chairman Mohammad Adnan Khan visited Government Gordon College, Government Islamia High School No. 4 Liaquat Road, Government Islamia Higher Secondary School No. 1 Murree Road, Government Viqarun Nisa Girls College Centre A, B Rawalpindi to review arrangements for the annual examination 2025.

During the visit, he checked the lighting arrangements and the seating plan of the candidates. He said that according to the vision of Punjab Chief Minister, the examination is being held transparently across the division.
