The play “Cinderjutt”, a ‘desi’ rendition of the classic tale Cinderella tells the story of  a boy Nikka Jutt (Rana Majid)  who lives under the stronghold of his step mother and two brothers — Gogi Jutt (Saqib Sumeer) and Shauki (Usman Mazhar)  who are continuously trying to probe him to lead them to their dead father's fortune.

The story begins with the narration of a fairy god father and quickly transitions into a dream of Nikka Jutt who is dancing with his dream girl Raania (Mariam Ansari).

The play held a series of dance numbers with flashy neon lights, funky props and random comedy skits making their way in and out of the story.

The focus seemed to be more on the choreography and the dances rather than revolving around a story line per se. The overall experience was great with excellent choreographed moves and a bright stage set-up.

The play was hosted at Karachi Arts Council for 27 days finally wrapping up with its last show on January 30, 2013.
