MIRAMSHAH, April 14: Four people were killed when a US drone targeted a residential compound in Dattakhel tehsil of North Waziristan Agency on Sunday evening, sources said.

The drone fired two missiles at the compound in Manzarkhel village, destroying the structure.

Local people pulled out four bodies from the debris.

It was the first drone attack in the tribal belt after the caretaker government took over.

Earlier in the morning, an indefinite curfew was imposed in the tribal region.
