ISLAMABAD Prime Minister Yousuf Raza Gilani changed on Tuesday portfolios of four ministers.

The reshuffle comes five days after the portfolios of three ministers were changed. According to a handout issued by the Cabinet Secretariat, Education Minister Hazar Khan Bijarani has been made Minister for Industries and Production in place of Mian Manzoor Wattoo who has been appointed Minister for Kashmir Affairs and Gilgit-Baltistan (the portfolio was earlier held by Information Minister Qamar Zaman Kaira).

Investment Minister Waqar Ahmed Khan has been made Minister for Privatisation.

The prime minister has named Planning Commission Chairman Sardar Assef Ahmad Ali as his adviser on education, but a notification to this effect will be issued after the approval of the appointment by the president.

According to official sources, the ministries of planning and development and investment will directly report to the prime minister.
