Introduce “adopt a madressah scheme”

A business will get tax benefits for upgrading a madressah and offering apprenticeships to its graduating students.

The PTI, in its manifesto, says that it will introduce an “adopt a madressah scheme", where a business enterprise will get "tax benefits etc for adopting a madressah, upgrading it and offering apprenticeships to its graduating students". The scheme, the party states, will be a "component of mainstreaming madressahs".

Mainstreaming Islamic seminaries is too much important because there is no check and balance system yet to monitor their activities and curriculum. With registration, we will get a data of these maddersas. Every institution should be within the write of state. Not only registration but we have to mainstream and empower them and regulate them.
